In 2006, a fresh-faced, good-to-know-ya fella named Craig Mock was attending Western Wyoming Community College on a Wrestling scholarship. During his sophomore year, his roommate Wick Taylor began using a fancy new $300 sonic toothbrush given to him by his sister that had just graduated from dental hygiene school.

Craig noticed that his roommate’s electronic toothbrush beeped every 30 seconds. He learned it was designed this way to beep every 30 seconds for a total of 2 minutes because the mouth is divided into 4 quadrants that each should be brushed for 30 seconds.

Craig was very intrigued by this and started researching toothbrushes and toothbrushing. He wanted to know: Is there was a better way to brush?  Craig played football in high school and used a double-sided mouthguard one of the seasons, which is why the first EZ Teethbrush™ prototype in 2007 consisted of gluing bristles to a double-sided mouthguard. However, after over 10 years of research and development, testing, developing many prototypes, countless hours of hard work, thousands and thousands of dollars, the EZ Teethbrush™ Sonic Toothbrush was finally ready for the World.

Prior to the release of the EZ Teethbrush™ Sonic Toothbrush Craig worked in the Medical sector for several years managing a medical company that sold durable medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. Craig transitioned to a career working for the Department of Defense and even worked for DCMA's NASA Product Operations. While working with Rocket Motors as an Industrial Specialist, and applying what he learned about Rocket Science to the manufacturing of a Sonic Powered “Teethbrush.” He successfully blended science and producibility.

Along the way, he was able to partner and consult with some of the best in the business. A local dentist, Dr. Brett Ballingham DMD was added to the team as Director of Clinical Affairs and to provide his dental expertise. Dr. Ballingham graduated top of his class from Roseman University after which he completed a rotation in advanced education in general dentistry at a program with an emphasis on children and special need. He brings over 10 years of experience in dentistry.

The EZ Teethbrush™ Electric Powered Toothbrush is the perfect marriage of Tech and Design. Craig sought the expertise of the best 3D Designer he could find, Dr. Rami Shorti. Dr. Shorti is currently involved with the EZ Teethbrush™ Team as the top consultant for Engineering and Design. Dr. Shorti holds a doctorate in engineering and has over 12 years of experience with product design, engineering, and manufacturing. Throughout his career, he has been focused on making a positive contribution to people's lives through innovative design and delivery of user-centered products. 

 The EZ Teethbrush™ Electric Toothbrush was successfully funded on Kickstarter in October of 2018 with over 500 backers and was in the top 1% of all Kickstarter projects to date.
